INTENT-"The group aims to discuss different kinds of human emotions such as Attraction, Hatred, etc and how they can be embedded in the trending humanoid robots." AI in the Oriental Vision At the epilogue of book How the Body Shapes the Way We Think, the story that practice makes perfect belongs to Zen(禅宗). In fact there was further elaborate of the intelligence as a secret of the ancient Han. For example the opinion of complex relationship between mental and physical was left in Tai Chi Chuan(太极拳). Maybe it will become an unforgettable discussion.

However this Interest Group is made open to everybody so anyone is welcome to share thoughts on the topic here regardless of whether you are taking the courses this year or not >_^
Future of ShanghAI Lectures The ShanghAI Lectures are officially over now – but perhaps they should live on, in a new form. What are your suggestions for future editions of "ShanghAI Lectures" (or whatever they will be called)? Do you think we should stick to videoconferences, connecting entire lecture rooms? Or would you suggest another technology – for example, a virtual world (Wonderland, OpenQwaq, OpenSim, …)? Did you like the guest lectures, or would you prefer only the bare-bones "class" by Rolf Pfeifer? Maybe a more interactive seminar instead of lectures? Feel free to post your ideas and comments!
