UNIworld
Server status: the ShanghAI Lectures are over, the servers are currently taking a rest :-)
In order to use UNIworld, every student will need a computer with a recent graphics card and a headset (highly recommended). The 3D environment runs on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows and requires Java 6.
Students are encouraged to use their own computer at a location of their preference, so they don't have to come to the university in order to solve the exercises (each university will provide at least one computer room with sufficient computing power).
UNIworld is based on Project Wonderland, the open-source collaboration environment from Sun Microsystems.
